The pension crisis framing is so refreshing becuase it moves beyond the tired 'greedy boomers' narrative. Your data on working-age resistance to raising retirement ages is eye-opening - I've definitly heard people in their 30s and 40s defending the triple lock way more than I expected. The self-interest logic is almost invisible in policy debates, but it explains way more than demographic voting patterns alone.
